About Dr. Fuller

Bruce E Fuller, M.D. has a life long commitment to patient care. 

He attended Norfolk State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. He was awarded an Army Reserve Officer's Training Corps scholarship and served for four years in the U.S. Army as an Ordnance Officer. Upon completing his four year obligation, Dr. Fuller pursued a degree in medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He was awarded a U.S. Navy Health Professions scholarship. 

Dr. Fuller completed an Internal Medicine internship at the Navy Medical Center, Oakland, California followed by an Operational Medicine tour of duty assigned to the Third Marine Expeditionary Brigade at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe, Hawaii. 

Dr. Fuller was the Battalion Surgeon for the 2nd Battalion/3rd Marines and deployed to Okinawa, Japan with his unit (750 Marines and Navy Corpsmen).

After completing his operational medical tour of duty, Dr. Fuller completed his dermatology residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His last military assignment was in the Department of Dermatology at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. 

Dr. Fuller is a 30 year Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He is also a 30 year Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has diagnosed and treated over 300 melanoma skin cancers and thousands of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. He has a special interest in cutaneous T-cell lymphomas, hair disorders and psoriasis.
